Karen joined Mentus in 2006, bringing with her a background in crisis communications, investor relations, consumer PR, and trade magazine publishing. She takes the lead in media relations, leveraging her strong relationships with life science, business and consumer press to generate expanded coverage for her clients. She oversees marketing, as well as public relations activities for her clients, working with Mentus designers to develop product launch and corporate collateral materials. Karen earned a B.A. from Denison University and studied for a semester at Goldsmith's College in London, England. She is Hawaiian in spirit, if not in lineage, and loves visiting the islands.
